Season 2
Torchwood returns with its second season on 1-16-2008 and the season opener was entitled ‘Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang’. Season opens with Jack who’s in surprise after Captain John Hart, comes to greet him. Many people are killed during a burglary and according to the Torchwood members; some alien presence is responsible for the serial murders. Future of mankind seems in danger after this revelation. Toshiko develops feelings for a soldier who is trapped out of his time zone. Later on this season, the team gets involved in an investigation of the case of a strange alien meat supply. Rhys is in danger so Gwen discovers herself under a danger as well as stress. An alien being changes people’s memories so as a result, Jack starts developing thoughts about his lost family; Gwen finds it tough to remember who Rhys is. A team member is dead and Jack tries his best to get him back. Owen Harper realizes that he definitely needs absolution. On her wedding day Gwen discovers that she has been impregnated by a space-shifting alien male. Torchwood tries to retrieve the essensenses being kept by a night traveling show. Season finale ‘Exit Wounds’ was aired on April 04, 2008. Season comes to an end as Captain John Hart heads back to Jack’s world and ends up getting captured. Now, the Torchwood team’s next vision is to get him rescued and to save the city itself.

The Torchwood team is caught in an explosion and we do see Jack, Toshiko, Ianto and Owen recalling the day when they were recruited to the Organization.
