It’s time for Captain’s Music
While Season three is yet in filming mode, let’s have a glimpse of the star of the show, what he is doing beside preparing for another blasting entry. Everybody knows Captain Jack Harkness (John Barrowman) of Torchwood. He is a terribly good singer along with being a fantastic actor. Have you got his first pop album ‘Another Side‘ which was releasedlast year? It’s a boom!
Recently he has announced the release of another album, it’s “Music Music Music“. This is his second pop album and will hit the music cafes after November 24. There will be a single ‘What About Us’ written by Gary Barlow and a duet song ‘I know Him So Well’, with musical theatre star Daniel Boys. So get ready to rock again.
This is now that he is concentrating upon pop albums. Previously he was doing only studio recordings for some TV series. Album “Another Side” was also amazing, with popular numbers like ‘You’re so vain’ and ‘All out of Love’. I hope the upcoming album will also top the UK albums chart like ‘Another Side’. He looks so different on the album cover.
But I like him more in the character of Captain Jack in Torchwood. He looks cool over there. Being a gay in real life as well, he seems natural with Linto on the show. Although a few scenes kicked off controversies, but still even a critic can’t resist John’s magic. He remains as bold in his character as is in his real life. I hate this attitude of people, when they oppose the scenes of his being a gay. I don’t understand when you like a show for its concept, story and acting, then how a few scenes can affect your liking for the show. These little things can be easily ignored. But thank God, these controversies failed to get the show cancelled and it survived.
Now filming for the third season is on and I am desperate to catch another zesty season. I hope this time the alien attacks will be more thrilling and novel. As this is the only series in my opinion which avoids repetition of story line in different episodes and always comes with a sort of freshness. Common’ bring me Captain Jack’s adventures soon, just can’t wait!!!
